The brief
A photo interview series created in collaboration with Freelance Friends. Each spotlight follows a creative through their world - photographing them in the places that shape their work and telling their story through images.
The challenge
Telling someone's story through images in a way that feels authentic and unposed. Each shoot needs to capture the person in their element while creating content that works for both the interview feature and as standalone visuals.
The outcome
An ongoing series of portrait and lifestyle photography used across the Freelance Friends platform and social media. Each interview captures a different creative's personality and connection to their craft.

Seye Adelekan is a musician from East London. We spent the day with him around Homerton - visiting the places that matter to him, talking about his career in the music industry, and capturing his world through portraits and lifestyle shots.
