You've built something good. Let's make it look the part.
Maybe your business has outgrown the branding you made when you started. Maybe nothing quite matches anymore. Or you're launching something new and want a clear direction from the beginning.
We help you turn what makes your business yours into a visual identity you can use across your website, content and marketing.
We'll work through the thinking together, then create the design.

Strategy or identity?
Strategy is what you are saying. Identity is what it looks like when you say it.
Brand strategy
The decisions. What you stand for, who you are for, how you are different and what you promise. It comes out as words: your positioning, your audience, and the things you say about yourself.
Brand identity
How those decisions look. Logo, colour, typography and the graphic parts that go with them, along with the rules for using them so you stay recognisable wherever you turn up.
Building a brand without a strategy is throwing things at a wall to see what sticks. That is how a business ends up with a logo and no idea what to post.
A quick test: if you can argue about it without looking at anything, it is strategy. If you have to look at it, it is identity. Both are part of a project here, and we start with the questions before anything gets designed.
What else might you need?
Photography, social templates, print, signage, tone of voice and launch content can all be added to a project. Tell us what you have coming up and we will include what makes sense in the proposal.
How a brand identity project works
01
Understand the business
We'll explore what you do, who you do it for and what you want your brand to communicate. You don't need a perfect brief, but your knowledge of the business is an important part of the process.
02
Agree the direction
We'll develop a visual direction for discussion, and agree it before moving into the identity design.
03
Design and refine
You'll see the identity presented with examples of how it could work in practice. We'll discuss your feedback and refine it within the agreed scope. If we're building your website too, that direction carries through into the page designs.
04
Put it to use
You'll receive your final files and guidelines, followed by a handover. You'll know what you have, where to find it and how to use it.
Your proposal will set out the schedule, feedback stages and what's needed from you along the way.
How much does a project cost?
Every business needs something different. After an initial conversation, you'll receive a proposal outlining the recommended scope, deliverables, timeline and project fee.
Whether you need a brand identity on its own or a brand and website together, we'll agree what's included before work starts.

Possibly. We'll look at what you have and discuss whether the logo still fits. Sometimes the surrounding colours, typography and applications need attention more than the logo itself.
You don't need to arrive with a design direction. Discovery is there to help us find it. Knowing what you like, dislike or feel uncertain about is useful too.
Tell us what feels off and why, and we'll use that to refine the work. Agreeing the creative direction early helps us catch mismatches before developing the identity. Your proposal includes a defined number of feedback rounds. If the brief changes or you want to explore a new direction beyond the agreed scope, we'll discuss the additional work and fee before proceeding.
That depends on the scope, whether a website is included and availability. You'll receive a schedule before booking, with clear milestones for reviewing the work and providing feedback.
You'll take part in discovery, review the work at agreed stages and provide consolidated feedback. We'll make those milestones clear before starting so you can plan for them.
We'll discuss what you already have and what needs creating. Copywriting support and photography can be included in the proposal, or you can provide your own materials by the agreed dates.
Your proposal will explain any additional costs, including paid fonts, third-party assets, hosting or software subscriptions. These will be agreed before purchase.
Yes. If you're unsure what you need, a £250 Brand Therapy session gives us time to explore your ideas and work out the next steps. If you book a Brand Identity or Brand & Website project within three months of your session, the £250 is credited towards your total project fee. Your booking deposit is still payable as set out in your proposal. The credit applies once and isn't redeemable for cash or other services. There's no obligation to continue, and the session is designed to be useful on its own.
Yes. Ongoing content and design support can help you put the identity into practice. We'll agree that separately around what you need.
